Mport3208-I is an advanced 8-port isolated rack-mount RS485/422 serial server designed for industrial environments. Featuring a 32-bit dual-core Arm Cortex-M7 processor with a main frequency of up to 528MHz and an external hardware watchdog design, this device ensures reliable data transmission. The Mport3208-I supports 8 RS485/422 serial ports, each capable of independent operation without interference. With configurable working modes and baud rates ranging from 600bps to 460800bps, it offers flexibility for various industrial applications.

 

Equipped with 2 10/100M copper ports, the Mport3208-I can be configured for different working modes, providing smooth and reliable connectivity to Ethernet networks. The integration of the TCP/IP protocol stack enables seamless connection of RS485/422 serial devices to Ethernet, enhancing industrial communication efficiency.

 

The Mport3208-I supports a wide range of network management functions through web configuration, including serial port/network working modes, serial port forwarding, DNS, log management, system management, and more. It also supports various conversion modes such as UDP/UDP Multicast, TCP Client/Server, Modbus RTU Master/Slave, Modbus ASCII Master/Slave, RealCOM, MCP/CCP/MW, Pair Connection Master/Slave, HTTPD Client, WebSocket Client, and MQTT, enabling flexible serial port to Ethernet or Modbus TCP protocol conversion.

 

Designed with industrial-grade components, the Mport3208-I offers wide temperature and pressure range, lightning resistance, anti-electromagnetic interference, high reliability, and high performance, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.   7. Support Modbus RTU/ASCII Master/Slave mode, realizing Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol conversion
  8. Support Modbus Slave host pre-read, single port automatic learning up to 128 RTU or 64 ASCII instructions, to achieve quick response
  9. Support RealCOM MCP /CCP/MW mode, mapping network for local COM, seamless connection
  10. Support HTTPD Client mode and perform GET or POST operation with HTTPD server
  11. Support WebSocket Client mode for two-way communication with WebSocket server
  12. Support multiple sub-packaging mechanisms, converting serial port data into Ethernet data packets according to data length or time, to meet the real-time needs of different networks
  13. Support package registration and heartbeat packages to realize connection verification and connection status detection
  14. Support Modbus virtual ID, mapping Modbus slave real ID to virtual ID for data communication, to avoid slave ID duplication
  15. Support serial communication parameters, operating modes, sending and receiving frame counts
  16. Support local log storage, network storage, USB flash drive storage and serial port log output
